Sheriff Curt Hamburger took office as the Potter County Sheriff in 2011.  He began his law enforcement career in 2008 and served with the Faulk County Sheriff’s Office and Gettysburg Police Department.   Sheriff Hamburger is also a member of the South Dakota Army National Guards and has attended numerous military schools.  Curt is also an active member of the VFW.  He has an associate degree from Mitchell Technical Institute.
