Sheriff Jason Weber took office as the Jerauld County Sheriff in December of 2010.  He grew up and graduated from Wessington Springs High School and then went on to attend Mitchell Technical Institute.  Sheriff Weber has been a law enforcement officer since 2005.  He began his law enforcement career with Jerauld County Sheriff’s Office.  Sheriff Weber is also active in his community as a volunteer fireman, Shriner, with the Mason Lodge, Hunt Safe instructor, and active in Pheasants Forever.  The Jerauld County Sheriff’s Office covers over 533 square miles and serves a population of 2,047.
